Contributor Requirements

Must be 18+

Must have or be willing to create a Discord account

Must be communicative

Must have read the carrd

Will be required to create a fully rendered and completed illustration, with a background (not necessarily a landscape, any kind of background elements count). This will either be a half-page or full-page spread.

Must submit a portfolio of at least 3 works that demonstrate a similar style and skill level to what you plan on creating. You can put them into a google doc but please make sure we can open it. An art social media account is allowed HOWEVER, we will not sift through a ton of reposts so your account isn’t purely for art, We ask that you don’t submit it.

Traditional artists are allowed if they can scan their work in at least 300 dpi

Will be required to create a 2-4 comic or other sequential work

Must submit a portfolio of at least 3 pieces with at least 2 comics or other sequential works that demonstrate a similar style and skill level to what you plan on creating. You can put them into a google doc but please make sure we can open it. An art social media account is allowed HOWEVER, we will not sift through a ton of reposts so your account isn’t purely for art, We ask that you don’t submit it.

Your own text is not a requirement if you are planning on creating a lyric comic for this zine.

Will be required to create 1-2 pieces of either digital or physical merch for this zine.

Must be able to create digital art

Having designs created specifically for merch is preferred but not a requirement

If you have a shop where you create your own merch, you may link that as your portfolio

Will be required to write a story, poem, etc. that is at least 1000 words.

These pieces must be between (approximately) 750 and 1000 An ao3 account is allowed HOWEVER, we will only review the first 1000 words of each of the most recent 3 fics you have posted.

Will be required to create and photograph a cosplay. This can be a compilation of photos or just one. Both options must be edited into the format of the zine.

Must submit a portfolio of at least 3 cosplays that demonstrate a similar style and skill level to what you plan on creating. You can put them into a google doc but please make sure we can open it. A cosplay social media account is allowed HOWEVER, we will not sift through a ton of reposts so your account isn’t purely for art, We ask that you don’t submit it.

Will be required to create a song (at least 1 minute) using vocal synth software.

Must submit a portfolio of at least 3 songs or song clips that demonstrate a similar style and skill level to what you plan on creating. At least two of these must demonstrate the usage of vocal synths, and at least one must be original. Original songs do not have to use vocal synths because they demonstrating your style of writing.
